Dr. Joe Schwarcz , director, McGill University Office for Science and Society, has written an excellent article about how the H1N1 vaccine and the oncslaught of pseudoscience against evidenced-based medicine and scientific research. He encapsulates the problems with the media trying to acquiesce to all claims, no matter how outlandish, under the aegis of providing “both sides of the story” as equal in value.
